The Mammoth Book of Perfect Crimes an Impossible Mysteries This is a short story that is in the collection, The Mammoth Book of Perfect Crimes an Impossible Mysteries edited by Mke Ashley. The story is about a man who was supposedly shot and wounded over 200 years ago, but the bullet didn’t hit him until over 200 years later. This seems like it would be very impossible to happen, but is it? You will have to read the story to find out what happened.

This collection has some intriguing ghost stories. The Limping Ghost by R. Chetwynd-Hayes is a great ghost story. This story is about a girl named Julia, her mother, father, and her brother, Brian. Julia liked the ghost and wanted to talk to him. The ghost was called Mr Miss One. The ghost did things around the house like working in the garden, washing the car, and other things. Her parents were upset becaus Julia wanted to be friends with the ghost. They wanted to leave so they wouldn’t be around the ghost, but they realized that nobody would buy the house with a ghost living in it. Now, you’ll have to read the story to find out what happens.

Winter's Child
Have you read any of Margaret Maron’s short stories or books? If you haven’t, you might like to pick up one of her books such as Winter’s Child or any of the other short stories or books. I have read some of her short stories and have really enjoyed them. A friend of mine is reading Winter’s Child and told me about it. It has intrigued me so much that I want to pick up that book and read it, too. There are other books in the series, too.

It was about a woman who didn’t want her real name on her manuscript she wrote because she wanted to write anonymously. Someone wanted to publish her book, but they wanted her real identity on the book. She refused to do it. Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson were called to investigate the case. They found someone murder in the process. Now, you will have to read the story to find out what happened.

The Man from Capetownby Stuart M. Kaminsky is a great short story. This short story is found in Murder in Baker Streetedited by Martin H. Greenberg, Jon Lellenberg, and Daniel Stashower. This story features Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson. A woman came to see Sherlock Holmes about her former husband. She told Holmes that she got a divorce and married another man. Now, she was afraid her former husband was going to kill her new husband. Shortly after she left, her former husband arrived to talk wih Holmes. He was afraid of some trouble from his ex-wife’s new husband. He wanted protection. After he left, Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson talked and then left to start their investigation. Now, you’ll have to read the story to find out what happened.
