A Bad Night for Burglars by Lawrence Block

A Bad Night for Burglars by Lawrence Block, is another great short story in his collection, The Collected Short Mysteries. You will enjoy reading this story. The burglar entered a house and was soon caught by the owner, Archer Trebizond. The burglar thought nobody was home, but Archer Trebizond told him he had just returned. He pointed a gun at the burglar. They exchanged words for awhile and ended up playing chess. Now, you’ll have to read the story to find out what happened after that.
