Flowers for Mr. Vecchi by Larry Allan

100 Crooked Little Crime Stories
This story is in the anthology, 100 Crooked Little Crime Stories. The main character is Mr. Vecchi. A funeral director came to his door asking for the body of Mr. Vecchi. He wanted to know what was happenng because he was Mr. Vecchi, so he wasn’t dead. Then, someone else came to the door about the wreath for Mr. Vecchi. Someone else came and wanted to pick up the body of Mr. Vecchi. Mr. Vecchi called the police because he didn’t know what was going on. A policeman came over, but he didn’t know what to think. Finally, the problem was solved. You’ll have to read this story to find out what happened.
