Primary Justice by William Bernhardt
![]()
Primary Justice is the first book in the series. Ben Kincaid wants to be a lawyer and is hired by a highly prestigious company. His first case is to work with a couple, Jonathan and Bertha, who wants to adopt a girl named Emily whom they found alone at night in a vacant lot. They kept her, but they did call the police, and nobody knew where she was from. They were to contact the Department of Human Services, but Jonathan didn’t want to do it because he wanted to keep the girl instead of sending her to some home. They were given a court order to appear in court concerning Emily. They contacted Ben Kincaid and wanted him to defend them and help them adopt Emily.
Once you start reading this book, you’ll have trouble putting it down. It is intriguing and has some humorous incidents. I have enjoyed reading this book, and I’m looking forward to reading the other ones.
