The Cat Who Had 14 Tales by Lilian Jackson Braun
Do you like stories featuring felines? If you do, and you also like cozy mysteries, you might like this collection of stories, The Cat Who Had 14 Tales.

One of the stories, The Hero of Drummond Street, is about a cat named Drooler. Every child teased him. One child even pulled part of his tail off. No matter what people did to the cat, he still acted the same. He was called Drooler because he drooled a lot, and wherever he went, he left his drooling. Drooler became a hero because he smelled a gas leak. Vernon, the boy who pulled off Drooler’s tail, became upset because he claimed to be the hero. You’ll have to read the story to find out what happened.
