The Cat Who Had 14 Tales by Lilian Jackson Braun
The Dark One is about a Siamese cat who has a deep shade of fawn. Dakh Won, the cat, was given to a woman named Hilda, who is married to Jack. Hilda likes cats, but her husband doesn’t. Jack became angry when he almost tripped over the cat. He started yelling at Hilda. Dakh Won began to realize that he needed to stay away from Jack on the weekends. Now, you’ll have to read the story to find out what happened to Dakh Won.
